The IT Infrastructure Manager will oversee the organization's infrastructure, and security operations, leading the IT infrastructure team and ensuring alignment with overall business goals. Responsible for ensuring the security and efficiency of IT systems.
Essential Duties
- Infrastructure Management: Overseeing the operation and maintenance of the technology infrastructure, including hardware, network and cyber security.
- Team Leadership: Managing and mentoring IT infrastructure staff, including hiring, training, and performance evaluations. Managing external consultants and service providers.
- Security and Compliance: Ensuring the security of systems and data, implementing security policies, and adhering to industry regulations.
- Project Management: Overseeing the planning, execution, and completion of IT infrastructure projects.
- Budget Management: Advise and manage the IT infrastructure team's budget.
- Vendor Management: Negotiating and managing contracts with technology vendors.
- User Support: Providing technical support and guidance to users across the organization.
- Staying Up to Date: Keeping abreast of emerging technologies and trends and recommending their adoption to improve infrastructure operations.
- Communication: Effectively communicating with management, other departments, and the IT team.
- Establishes strong and effective working relationships that are conducive to maintaining a positive work environment.
- Ensures compliance with all company procedures and policies.
- Performs other duties as assigned.

Supervisory Responsibility
- This position has direct supervisory responsibilities.
Working Environmental Conditions
- May be exposed to moderate heat, light dust, fumes, extreme temperatures, noise and hazards such as electrical shock or gases. Some outside assignments could involve exposure to adverse weather conditions. Adequate hearing protection is required for 85 decibels and above

Requirements
QUALIFICATIONS:
Knowledge
- Knowledge of compliance requirements, regulations, standards, and best practices designed to protect sensitive data and systems
- Knowledge of in-depth IT requirements in various systems within a manufacturing environment
- Knowledge of ISO 27001 and other key standards
Skills
- Excellent interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills
- Ability to lead and work within a cross-functional team environment
- Ability to identify and resolve complex IT infrastructure issues
- Ability to develop and implement IT strategies that align with business goals
- Ability to manage IT projects from start to finish
- Possesses strong understanding of IT systems, networks, and security
- Fluent in English
Experience
- 7+ years of experience in an IT, manufacturing-based environment required
- 10+ years preferred
- Solid understanding of IT systems, infrastructure, and cyber security
- Working with other managers and leaders
- Experience leading a team
Education
- Bachelor's degree in IT, Information Systems, Computer Science or Business-related field required
