Senior Associate Attorney – Litigation

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Litigation Attorney to join our team. This role is ideal for someone with strong litigation experience who is also capable of growing a local office. You'll represent clients in high-stakes litigation and collaborate with a national team of elite trial lawyers.

Duties

As a Senior Associate Attorney at Daly & Black, your responsibilities will include:

  • Providing legal advice and representation to plaintiffs in complex litigation matters
  • Conducting legal research and preparing high-quality written work product
  • Drafting pleadings, motions, discovery, and briefs
  • Representing clients in court proceedings, depositions, and settlement negotiations
  • Developing and executing case strategy in collaboration with our national team
  • Managing and prioritizing multiple active cases
  • Supporting business development efforts and fostering a strong local presence

Experience

We're looking for someone with:

  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school
  • At least 4 years in practice is required
  • Admission to practice in Louisiana state and federal court
  • Significant litigation experience, including courtroom and deposition work
  • Demonstrated ability to manage deadlines, strategy, and workflow across multiple cases
  • Strong legal research and writing skills
  • Confidence, grit, and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively
  • Proficiency with litigation tools and research platforms (e.g., Westlaw, Lexis)
