Job Summary

We are seeking a reliable and motivated Shop Helper to support our manufacturing operations. This role involves assisting with various tasks in a fast-paced factory environment, ensuring smooth workflow and safety compliance. This position offers an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in manufacturing and assembly processes within a dynamic team setting.

Duties

  • Assist with the assembly and disassembly of products
  • Operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment safely (training provided)
  • Support the movement of materials and supplies throughout the facility
  • Use hand tools and power tools for assembly, maintenance, or repair tasks
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of work areas to ensure safety and efficiency
  • Help with loading and unloading materials from trucks or storage areas
  • Follow safety protocols and report any hazards or issues to supervisors
  • Support mechanical tasks as needed, including basic repairs or adjustments

Skills

  • Prior experience with forklift operation is preferred
  • Mechanical knowledge or aptitude for working with machinery and tools
  • Familiarity with assembly line processes and manufacturing operations
  • Experience using hand tools and power tools safely and effectively
  • Ability to work in a team environment with good communication skills
  • Strong attention to detail, safety-conscious mindset, and willingness to learn

Job Type: Temporary

Pay: $ $18.00 per hour

Expected hours: 54 per week
