Building Maintenance Foreman - Full Time

Riverview Homes, a multi-unit Co-Op Housing complex in West Mifflin, is seeking a qualified Maintenance Foreman and Team Lead to oversee the maintenance team. Candidates should have prior, related work experience. After the probationary period, the position is full-time (40 hours/week, Mon-Fri) with a generous benefit package and pay raises.

Compensation: $25.00 to $28.00 per hour to start, with a 60-day probationary period - based on skills and 5 + years of experience.

Note: Candidate must be available to assist the on-call maintenance worker on rotation.

Position Skills and Duties:

· Serve as Foreman and Team Lead, overseeing a maintenance crew by assigning daily tasks, coordinating workflow, training workers, maintaining and tracking inventory, ordering supplies, organizing the workspace, ensuring safety compliance, maintaining quality standards, reporting to the Manager and Board of Directors, and performing all other duties as assigned.

· Perform a variety of maintenance activities including but not limited to carpentry, basic plumbing and electrical, minor furnace maintenance, cement repair, cleaning & landscaping, floor installation and repair, painting and minor roof repairs.

· Installation of storm doors and interior doors including some minor window repairs a plus.

· Respond to emergency situations for the purpose of resolving immediate safety concerns.

· Ensure that tools, materials and vehicles are maintained in good working order and are available at job site when needed.

Position Requirements:

· Must be a self-starter, honest, mature, responsible and reliable.

· Flexibility to work with a wide diversity of individuals using effective communication skills.

· Ability to follow oral or written work orders and instructions.

· Knowledge of measurements, ability to perform accurate mathematical calculations.

· Experience in using a variety of hand and power tools.

· High School diploma/GED

· Valid PA driver's license is required.
