The successful candidate will be able to ensure that high quality traffic control products are manufactured. This is a temporary position. 

DUTIES

  • Inspect incoming material to be used in production.  Ensure product meets drawings, manufacturer's specifications, cosmetic criteria.
  • Segregating received material, and visually inspecting them.
  • Identify broken/missing components after comparing them to Engineering drawings.
  • Pack, unpack, count, and confirm integrity of incoming materials (Hardware/PCBs), including shipping and receiving. 
  • Creating spreadsheets for various types of PCBs including given description and serial numbers.
  • Learn how to use D365, for internal system transactions.
  • Modify ISO Documentation. 

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Technical knowledge or certification, preference in electronics.
  • Periodic calibration and ESD testing of production tools
  • Has the motivation to learn more about different types of boards for physical inspection.
  • Has the eye for hardware visual inspection, as in missing screws or apparent paint/dimensional failure.
  • Ability to handle metal parts and PCBs considering ESD safety.
  • Previous Quality related role in a manufacturing environment preferred.
  • Able to read and understand technical drawings and specifications.
  • Computer knowledge: Proficiency in Microsoft office tools (Excel and Word minimum) 
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline driven environment.
  • Ability to exert moderate physical effort, which may involve some lifting, carrying, pushing and/or pulling of objects and materials of moderate weight (up to 35 pound)
  • Experience with ISO documentation

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

  • Must be able to stand, walk, squat, and bend at the waist for extended periods of time
  • Ability to handle small components and use hand tools effectively for extended periods of time.
  • Performing repetitive tasks such as screwing, soldering, or wiring.
  • Ability to lift up to 35 pounds 
  • Safety sensitive position—will be required to work with electrical components.

PRE-EMPLOYMENT

COMPENSATION

The base pay range for this full-time non-exempt position is $ $25.00 per hour plus benefits. Pay ranges are determined by various factors, including role, experience, and location. The pay range displayed reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire base pay rates for this position. Within the range, actual individual compensation is determined by various factors, including location, job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
