Job Summary: Innovive is a consistently growing B2B manufacturing company serving the biomedical research industry. We value hard work and credit the team for our success. We are looking for a fabrication and assembly supervisor. This position will support the overall fabrication of components and assembly of Innovive's housing rack system. This position will report to Sr. Director of Mfg/Site Director.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Provide training, support, direction, and mentorship to develop employee work habits, job skills, and safety practices.
  • Oversee the fabrication of new and replacement parts, ensuring compliance with safety, fire, and environmental codes.
  • Lead a team of hourly employees to achieve safety, quality, delivery, and cost goals.
  • Direct production operations in accordance with established priorities and sequences for manufacturing products.
  • Assist Quality Assurance and Manufacturing Engineering personnel in testing, troubleshooting, and modifying processes to improve production methods.
  • Develop procedures, work instructions (SOPs), and standard training plans on new equipment operation, part processes, and part quality inspection.
  • Balance quality, productivity, cost, safety, morale, and continuous improvement activities to achieve positive results.
  • Interpret technical documentation and artistic renderings to support fabrication and maintenance.
  • Spend 95% of the time on the production floor managing work centers.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Knowledge of metalworking machinery (CNCs, presses, lasers, etc.) and safety regulations.
  • Knowledge of shop floor controls and experience with an MES is preferred.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, knowledge of production and assembly concepts, and ability to organize and coordinate workloads.
  • Experience in managing production operations and ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards.

Education and Experience:

  • Relevant degree such as Bachelor's or Associate Degree in Engineering and/or 3-5 years of supervisor experience.
  • Experience in leading teams and driving continuous improvement.

Compensation: Salary commensurate with experience and highly competitive within industry.

Employment Type: Full-Time Exempt/Non-exempt

Travel: Up to 10%
