About the Role

Santcore Technologies is seeking a
Senior Cyber Defense Forensics Analyst
to support our Energy Sector Client's Cyber Threat Intelligence & Investigations team.

This role focuses on conducting advanced
digital forensic investigations
, collaborating across cyber defense teams, and translating technical findings into actionable intelligence for legal, HR, and corporate security teams.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct
    digital forensic examinations
    and deep-dive analysis of computer, network, and cloud systems.
  • Support investigations across
    Cybersecurity, Legal, HR, and Corporate Security
    functions.
  • Document findings in the
    incident management system
    and prepare professional reports.
  • Assist with
    intrusion analysis, data recovery, and malware analysis
    .
  • Maintain current knowledge of forensic tools, network vulnerabilities, and encryption methods.
  • Collaborate with other
    Cyber Threat and SOC
    teams to strengthen organizational defenses.

Required Skills

  • EnCase
    – Required
  • Experience with tools such as
    Magnet Axiom, Cellebrite, Microsoft eDiscovery
  • Minimum
    5+ years
    conducting forensic investigations, incident response, or intrusion analysis
  • Familiar with
    forensic artifacts
    across multiple operating systems
  • Strong understanding of
    corporate network infrastructure and secure architectures
  • Excellent communication skills – ability to present findings to technical and non-technical audiences

Preferred Certifications

  • EnCE, CFCE, IACIS, GIAC GCFA, GCFE, or GREM

Education

  • Bachelor's degree in
    Digital Forensics, Cybersecurity, Computer Science
    , or related field
  • (Equivalent hands-on experience considered in lieu of degree)
