Overview

We are seeking a professional and reliable Truck Driver to join our transportation team. The ideal candidate will have experience operating various types of trucks, including tractor-trailers, flatbeds, tanker trucks, refrigerated trailers, dump trucks, and roll-off trucks. This role involves delivering freight safely and efficiently across designated routes while maintaining compliance with all safety regulations. Candidates should possess strong driving skills, a clean driving record, and the ability to load and unload cargo as needed. This position offers an excellent opportunity for individuals with a passion for commercial driving and route delivery.

Responsibilities

  • Safely operate a variety of commercial trucks including tractor-trailers, flatbeds, tanker trucks, refrigerated trailers, dump trucks, and roll-off trucks.
  • Drive assigned routes efficiently while adhering to scheduled delivery times.
  • Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and compliance with DOT regulations.
  • Maintain accurate logs of driving hours, deliveries, and vehicle maintenance reports.
  • Ensure cargo is secured properly during transit to prevent damage or accidents.
  • Follow all traffic laws and safety procedures to ensure safe transportation of goods.
  • Communicate effectively with dispatchers regarding route changes or delivery issues.
  • Assist with maintenance tasks such as fueling, minor repairs, or cleaning vehicles as needed.

Experience

  • Proven experience in truck driving, preferably with delivery driver experience in freight transportation.
  • Familiarity with operating manual transmission vehicles is preferred.
  • Experience driving specialized trucks such as refrigerated trailers, flatbeds, tanker trucks, dump trucks, or roll-off trucks is a plus.
  • Knowledge of route driving and load & unload procedures in various environments.
  • Ability to operate additional equipment such as forklifts is advantageous.
  • Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) with relevant endorsements for different truck types (e.g., tanker endorsement).
  • Clean driving record with a history of safe driving practices.
  • Prior experience handling freight in various conditions and environments is desirable. This role requires a dedicated individual committed to safety and efficiency on the road while providing excellent service in freight delivery operations.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $ $20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 – 60 per week
