Position Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Electronics Technician with strong manual dexterity and experience in precision repair work. The ideal candidate has hands-on experience troubleshooting, diagnosing, and repairing small electronic devices such as smartphones, circuit boards, biomedical equipment, medical devices, computers, or other delicate components.

This role requires excellent fine motor skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work with miniature parts, tools, and electronic assemblies in a clean and organized work environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Diagnose, repair, and test a wide range of small electronic devices and components (e.g., circuit boards, cell phones, computers, medical devices, and related equipment).
  • Perform precision soldering, desoldering, and component replacement using microscopes and fine tools.
  • Inspect and troubleshoot PCB assemblies for defects or performance issues.
  • Read and interpret technical schematics, wiring diagrams, and service manuals.
  • Maintain and calibrate test and measurement instruments.
  • Document repair work, parts used, and test results accurately in repair logs or systems.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent; associate degree or certification in Electronics Technology or related field preferred.
  • Proven hands-on experience repairing small electronic or mechanical devices — examples include: Cell phones and tablets, Circuit boards and soldering work, Computer components (laptops, motherboards, connectors), Biomedical or medical device repairs, Eyeglass or precision instrument repairs
  • Strong small hand dexterity and the ability to perform fine assembly and repair work under magnification.
  • Familiarity with electronic testing tools (multimeters, oscilloscopes, soldering stations, microscopes, etc.).
  • Experience handling medical or biomedical electronic equipment preferred.
