Overview

In this position you will assist the Store Manager on all levels when needed. Directly supervise and coordinate activities across all levels of the staff.

· Restaurant experience is required

· Must possess or attain Food Manager Certification

Responsibilities:

· Represent the company in a professional manner at all times.

· Maintain and enhance the company's image when interacting with guests, associates and vendors.

· Must be able to communicate well and get along with others.

· Computer literate.

· Must have open availability, in case of emergencies or call-outs.

· Resolve shift call-outs by finding coverage according to company policy.

· Observe and evaluate workers and work procedures to ensure quality standards and service.

· Supervise and participate in kitchen and dining area cleaning activities.

· Resolve customer complaints regarding food service.

· Inspect supplies, equipment, and work areas to ensure efficient service and conformance to standards.

· Control inventories of food, equipment, small ware, and beer/wine, and report shortages to store manager.

· Recommend measures for improving work procedures and worker performance to increase service quality and enhance job safety.

· Analyze operational problems, such as theft and waste, and establish procedures to alleviate these problems.

· Specify food portions and courses, production and time sequences, and workstation and equipment arrangements.

· Compile and balance cash receipts at the end of the day or shift.

· Perform food preparation and serving duties.

· Assist in all catering orders.

· Reaches, bends, squats and lifts up to, but not limited to, 50lbs.

· Any and all other duties as assigned or requested. Including placing orders and doing inventory.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $ $15.00 per hour
