Job Description

Join Gerresheimer in Peachtree City, GA as a Process Technician – Injection Molding and play a key role in producing high-quality plastic components for the healthcare industry. In this role, you'll set up, operate, and troubleshoot injection molding machines in a clean room environment, ensuring efficiency, safety, and precision. You'll collaborate with engineers and production teams to maintain quality standards and support continuous improvement initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Set up, start up, and operate injection molding machines to produce precision parts
  • Change molds, complete setups, and perform basic mold repairs
  • Troubleshoot processing issues to minimize downtime
  • Maintain and monitor support equipment (dryers, loaders, color feeders)
  • Follow safety procedures and maintain a clean, organized work area
  • Perform routine mold cleaning and accurate process documentation
  • Participate in 5S activities and improvement projects
Qualifications
  • ​​​​​​High school diploma or GED required; technical certificate or associate degree preferred
  • 2+ years of experience in injection molding or similar manufacturing environment
  • Hands-on experience with machine setup and troubleshooting
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills
  • Familiarity with thermoplastic materials and injection molding equipment
  • Comfortable using computer systems (MES, SAP, Microsoft Office)
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced setting and follow SOPs

Preferred:

  • 3+ years of injection molding experience
  • Knowledge of ancillary equipment and a wide range of thermoplastic materials
  • Experience with robots and automated systems

  • Schedule: 12-hour shifts on a rotating 2-2-3 schedule (Day & Night shifts available)
