Schedule: Night shift 7 pm - 7:30 am (includes some weekends)

Position Overview: We are seeking an experienced and compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Behavioral Health team. This role provides critical support in maintaining a safe and therapeutic environment while delivering high-quality medical care to clients. The RN will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, assist direct care staff, and ensure effective coordination of healthcare services.

Key Responsibilities:

· Perform comprehensive nursing assessments and develop care plans.

· Maintain accurate documentation of assessments, medication administration, and care provided.

· Coordinate pharmacy and laboratory orders, ensuring timely refills and delivery.

· Monitor and secure controlled medications per policy.

· Provide education to residents and families regarding medications and treatment plans.

· Participate in admissions, discharges, and transfers to ensure continuity of care.

· Maintain infection control standards within the facility.

· Foster a therapeutic environment and provide individualized counseling as needed.

Requirements:

· Graduate of an accredited nursing program.

· Active RN license in Michigan.

· BLS/CPR certification.

· Valid driver's license.

· 1+ years of RN experience (psychiatric nursing experience strongly desired).
