Newsletter & Editorial Intern (Remote / Part-Time)

Adnan Anwar Design is a New York–based interior design studio known for its layered, art-driven approach to residential interiors and storytelling through space. We're looking for a Newsletter & Editorial Intern
to help launch and manage a new Substack publication — as well as assist with short-form written content for the studio's LinkedIn presence.

About the Role

This internship focuses on
developing and producing a biweekly newsletter
that reflects the brand's aesthetic and voice — blending design insights, project stories, product curation, and cultural references. You'll help translate the studio's visual world into written narratives, and occasionally craft posts and updates for LinkedIn to share press features, collaborations, and milestones.

Key Responsibilities

  • Write and edit editorial content (introductions, Q&As, product spotlights, design commentary)
  • Curate and organize imagery consistent with the brand's tone and visual identity
  • Assist in planning a monthly content calendar for Substack and LinkedIn
  • Coordinate layout and publication schedule
  • Research potential features, collaborations, and cultural topics for inclusion

Ideal Candidate

  • Strong writing and editing skills; background in journalism, English, or communications preferred
  • Interest in
    interior design, art, and lifestyle storytelling
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and visually attuned
  • Comfortable with platforms like Substack, Canva, or basic content management tools
  • Self-motivated and proactive — able to work independently with light supervision

Details

  • Remote, 5–10 hours per week
  • Flexible schedule
  • Paid internship (hourly or project-based stipend depending on experience)
  • Start date: flexible, ideally November 2025
