Recruitment NotesThe Assistant Division Director of Credit and Collections is a senior contributor to the Internal Compliance Department with a comprehensive view of the debt collection business, who can provide a common view of business capabilities, processes, and needs to support objective decision-making. The incumbent exercises independent judgment in the execution of diverse and complex administrative functions, demonstrating detailed knowledge of management and support of Collection and Code Enforcement systems. The Assistant Director provides oversight of debt collection and enforcement technology initiatives, inclusive of project requirements definition for systems used, as well as their integration into the County's financial system.
This is a critical position within the Division, who is highly responsible for professional administrative work assisting the Division Director of Credit and Collections, managing considerable day-to-day department-wide responsibilities as it relates to collections, distributions, and personnel administration for the Division to meet the Department's strategic objectives. The position also oversees communications with County management and staff, as well as Jackson Memorial Hospital and County Constitutional Offices, as needed. Additionally, the role will assist with the management of the code enforcement processes to ensure County Code 8cc and IO2-5 compliance, internal control coordination, and specialized third-party collection and code enforcement systems implementation and administration for the Division.
This job requires primarily in-person work, located in the Stephen P. Clark Center, 111 NW 1st Street, 26th Floor, in Downtown Miami.
