About the Role

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Staff Accountant to join our finance team. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a dynamic environment and is passionate about maintaining financial accuracy and supporting operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain pricing control processes and ensure timely metal market pricing adjustments.
  • Monitor and maintain the cost accounting system to ensure accurate job costing.
  • Oversee inventory accounting and controls to maintain accurate data integrity.
  • Assist with monthly close processes, including financial statement preparation and account reconciliations.
  • Support Treasury and cash management activities.
  • Perform budget comparisons and variance analysis.
  • Conduct inventory and standard rate analysis and control.
  • Provide support for Accounts Payable (A/P) and Accounts Receivable (A/R) functions.
  • Track and monitor tooling amortizations and tooling billings.
  • Collaborate with external accountants to provide necessary documentation for statutory reporting.
  • Participate in special projects and other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in accounting, Finance, or related field.
  • 2+ years of accounting experience, preferably in a manufacturing or industrial setting.
  • Strong understanding of cost accounting and inventory controls.
  • Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
  • Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
