TalentoHC is actively partnered with a financial services institution actively seeking a Senior Credit Analyst to join their team.

Overview:

The Senior Credit Analyst supports the SVP Credit Risk Manager in underwriting complex, multimillion-dollar syndicated and bilateral loans for large domestic and international corporations across diverse industries. Facilities include working capital, trade finance, term loans, acquisitions, and project financing. This role also serves as a backup to the SVP Credit Risk Manager.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Evaluate borrowers' financials, operations, and industry positions to assess creditworthiness.
  • Analyze historical and projected financial statements to determine repayment capacity.
  • Identify key credit risks, mitigants, and strengths; recommend credit ratings per policy.
  • Participate in lender meetings, client calls, and credit structuring discussions.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements (e.g., Leveraged Lending, Project Finance).
  • Research market data via Bloomberg, S&P, and similar sources.
  • Prepare comprehensive credit assessments and quarterly financial reviews.
  • Monitor loan portfolio performance, borrower compliance, and industry trends.
  • Maintain organized credit files and support audits and regulatory exams.
  • Supervise and mentor junior analysts as needed.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or related field.
  • 10+ years of financial/credit analysis experience within U.S. financial institutions.
  • Strong risk management, financial modeling, and analytical skills.
  • Knowledge of U.S. banking regulations and rating methodologies (S&P, Moody's).
  • Excellent written and verbal communication; fluency in English and Spanish.
  • Ability to work flexible hours and travel as required.
