Job Description

The Business Strategy and Operations Consultant within the Client Services North America Business Operations team will be a results-driven individual with a digital-first approach to strategic planning, operational execution, and a passion for process improvement. This role joins the team responsible for driving strategic initiatives, performance tracking, and operational excellence across all facets of Client Services. The team supports Visa's clients by identifying opportunities for growth, optimizing service delivery, and incorporating generative AI and data-driven insights into the service journey – all to drive our clients' success. It's an exciting time to join Visa's Client Services in a team with high visibility both across the organization and with leadership.

This role requires a dynamic, well-rounded team player with the ability to ingest information quickly and pivot when needed, and a keen focus on the "what," the "so what," and the "now what." The role will flex across a variety of strategic and operational initiatives with a focus on performance measurement, business planning, and cross-functional collaboration. The ideal candidate will blend strategic thinking with pragmatic and efficient execution to drive impact through data, insights, and storytelling.

This position will be based in Miami and will report into the Senior Director, Business Strategy and Operations. This is an individual contributor role and requires a skilled strategist with strong business acumen, ability to operate independently, a curiosity to streamline our daily work through technology and GenAI, and an ability to deliver quickly.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead strategic planning and operational initiatives across Client Services North America.
  • Analyze business performance and identify opportunities for improvement and growth.
  • Develop executive presentations, and reports to communicate insights and recommendations.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and execute business strategies and key performance indicators.
  • Manage a global calendar of strategic initiatives and ensure alignment with business priorities.
  • Stay informed of best practices in business operations, change management, and the platforms we use to bring innovative ideas to the organization and improve user experience.

This is a hybrid position. Expectation of days in office will be confirmed by your hiring manager.

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications:

  • 5 or more years of relevant work experience with a Bachelors Degree or at least 2 years of work experience with an Advanced degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD) or 0 years of work experience with a PhD
  • Prior experience in business strategy, operations, or change management role with a track record of developing and communicating a strategy, building relationships across teams and key stakeholders to achieve business goals.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a collaborative mindset.
  • Proficiency in using technology and generative AI to enhance work processes

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 6 or more years of work experience with a Bachelors Degree or 4 or more years of relevant experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD) or up to 3 years of relevant experience with a PhD
  • Proven ability to develop and execute effective business presentations.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a digital-first approach.
  • Hands-on team player with strong organizational and project management skills, with the ability to pivot quickly based on latest developments with a high level of accuracy. You resourcefully overcome unexpected roadblocks and carry a strong sense of accountability.

Additional Information

Work Hours: Varies upon the needs of the department.

Travel Requirements: This position requires travel 5-10% of the time.

Mental/Physical Requirements: This position will be performed in an office setting. The position will require the incumbent to sit and stand at a desk, communicate in person and by telephone, frequently operate standard office equipment, such as telephones and computers.

U.S. APPLICANTS ONLY: The estimated salary range for a new hire into this position is 114,400.00 to 165,900.00 USD per year, which may include potential sales incentive payments (if applicable). Salary may vary depending on job-related factors which may include knowledge, skills, experience, and location. In addition, this position may be eligible for bonus and equity. Visa has a comprehensive benefits package for which this position may be eligible that includes Medical, Dental, Vision, 401 (k), FSA/HSA, Life Insurance, Paid Time Off, and Wellness Program.
