About the Role
The Director of Enterprise Risk Management is a senior leadership role responsible for overseeing the Bank's ERM Program, reporting directly to the CRO. This position ensures the identification, measurement, monitoring, reporting, and prioritization of risks faced by the Bank.
Responsibilities
- Oversee all aspects of the ERM program, including but not limited to:
- Model risk management
- Third party risk management
- Operational risk management
- Operational resiliency
- Physical security
- Serve as a trusted advisor to senior leadership.
- Leverage deep subject matter expertise to drive management, organizational, engineering, and business improvement efforts.
- Adopt a strong results-oriented approach.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree required, Master's Degree preferred
- 12+ years in Enterprise Risk Management within the Financial Services industry
- 5+ years as the senior leader of ERM in a $10+ billion asset size publicly traded financial institution
- Relevant industry certifications (CPA, CIA, CFE, etc)
- Ability to understand and manage complex business projects concurrently with a wide range of stakeholders

- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Expertise in risk management frameworks
- Analytical and problem-solving abilities
Preferred Skills
- Experience with regulatory compliance
- Familiarity with financial modeling and analysis
