Auto Body Estimator

Seeking qualified individuals for our new ultra-modern collision repair center located in Washington, PA. Competitive pay

Job Purpose:
An Auto Body Estimator is responsible for the actual service write up and/or repair planning of vehicles assigned to him or her by management.
Duties and Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Properly complete the service write up and repair plan for collision repairs .
- Complete damage estimates according to the applicable safety requirements and published procedures to put damaged car in preaccident condition.
- Communicate with parts department.
- Properly use the estimating program CCC ONE and ROME
- Participate in and utilize to the best of one's abilities, technical training as assigned by management and factory certifications.
- Produce quality work that reflects pride in workmanship.
- Maintain the workspace assigned in an organized and clean manner.
- Arrive at work, take breaks, and depart work at the time designated by management.
- Show common courtesy to all customers and dealership personnel.
- Make every effort to achieve the production objectives set by management.
- Constructively communicate with other staff as required to satisfy customer needs.
- Report to management any situation or condition that would jeopardize the safety, welfare, or integrity of the shop, its customers, or employees.
Qualification Requirements:
Pa Estimator's license (preferred depending on experience)
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily in a professional manner; must be legally and technically able to safely operate Company and customer-owned vehicles; and must be insurable by a company insurance carrier. Working extended hours, evenings and weekends may be required to achieve goals.

MUST BE ABLE TO PERFORM THE FOLLOWING DUTIES WITHOUT RESTRICTS DURING AN 8 HOURS DAY:
BENDING/STOOPING, KNEELING, PULLING/PUSHING, REACHING, STANDING, SITTING, WALKING, FINE MANIPULATION, OVERHEAD REACH, LIFTING AT LEAST 75LBS, AND CARRY AT LEAST 75LBS.
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
- High school diploma or the equivalent.
- I-CAR training
SKILLS & KNOWLEDGE
- Proven development skills
- General auto body and mechanical knowledge.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and verbal communication.
- Ability to read and comprehend instructions and information.
- Organization and follow-up skills.
- Computer skills.
- Valid driver's license with good driving record.
Conduct oneself and dress properly in a manner that brings credibility to the shop.
