Summary

We are seeking a skilled Warehouse Forklift Operator to join our dynamic team. This role is essential in ensuring smooth and efficient warehouse operations and directly supports our mission of delivering high-quality dietary supplements. The ideal candidate will be proficient in operating stand-up forklifts, sit-down forklifts, and cherry pickers to safely move, load, and organize materials, while maintaining accuracy and safety at all times.

Responsibilities

  • Safely and efficiently operate stand-up forklifts, sit-down forklifts, and cherry pickers.
  • Load, unload, and stage materials from trucks, containers, and storage areas.
  • Pick, stage, and ship orders with accuracy to maintain proper inventory controls.
  • Perform daily equipment inspections and promptly report any maintenance issues.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment in compliance with company and OSHA standards.
  • Collaborate with warehouse team members to optimize operations and meet production goals.
  • Support the training and onboarding of new warehouse staff as needed.
  • Accurately record inventory movements and ensure timely reporting.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent (preferred).
  • Proven experience operating stand-up forklifts, sit-down forklifts, and cherry pickers in a warehouse environment.
  • Current forklift certification or ability to obtain certification upon hire.
  • Strong understanding of warehouse operations, inventory management, and safety procedures.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong attention to detail, reliability, and teamwork skills.
  • Familiarity with OSHA regulations and safety standards.
  • Ability to operate RF scanners and other warehouse equipment.
  • Excellent physical stamina for heavy lifting and manual labor.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment.

Work Environment & Physical Demands

  • Regularly required to stand, walk, bend, stoop, and reach with hands and arms.
  • Frequent use of forklifts and material-handling equipment in warehouse settings.
  • Ability to lift, push, and pull up to 50 lbs. independently.
  • Work is performed in a warehouse environment with exposure to varying temperatures, noise levels, and moving equipment.
  • Occasional overtime, evenings, or weekends may be required based on business needs.
