We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Banquet Prep Cook and Dishwasher to join our culinary team. This dual-role position is essential to maintaining a clean, organized kitchen while supporting banquet food preparation and execution. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, works well under pressure, and thrives in a fast-paced, team-focused environment.

Requirements:

Key Responsibilities:

Prep Cook Duties:

  • Assist in preparing ingredients and dishes according to banquet event menus and chef instructions
  • Portion, chop, slice, and measure ingredients accurately
  • Set up and stock workstations with all necessary supplies
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of prep areas
  • Ensure proper food storage and labeling in compliance with food safety standards
  • Support line cooks and chefs during event service as needed

Dishwasher Duties:

  • Wash, sanitize, and organize dishes, pots, pans, and kitchen utensils
  • Maintain cleanliness of dish area and equipment throughout shift
  • Take out trash and recycling as needed
  • Assist with general kitchen cleaning (floors, counters, coolers, etc.)
  • Follow all sanitation and safety protocols

Qualifications:

  • Previous kitchen or banquet prep experience preferred but not required
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and stand for long periods
  • Understanding of basic food safety and hygiene
  • Strong teamwork and communication skills
  • Dependable and punctual
