Metro Health and Wellness, LLC is a leading women's health and wellness practice led by Dr. Kirstie Cunningham, a board-certified OB/GYN and nationally recognized menopause specialist. We provide hormone therapy, PRP procedures (O-Shot, P-Shot, Vampire Facial), weight management, and aesthetic services in a compassionate, patient-centered setting.

Job Summary

We're looking for a reliable and detail-oriented Medical Assistant to join our team for a temporary 2-3 month role. You'll assist with both clinical procedures and administrative duties to support smooth daily operations in a boutique medical environment.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare exam rooms and assist with hormone pellet insertions, PRP, and aesthetic procedures
  • Take vitals, record patient histories, and perform phlebotomy
  • Process and handle specimens (centrifuge/PRP prep — training provided)
  • Maintain inventory and clinical cleanliness
  • Schedule patients, handle check-in/out, and update EMR documentation
  • Provide patient education and post-procedure instructions

Qualifications

  • CMA, RMA, or equivalent experience preferred
  • At least 1 year of experience in a medical office (OB/GYN or aesthetics ideal)
  • Phlebotomy experience required
  • Professional, organized, and dependable with strong communication skills
