As an Automotive Service Advisor, you will be the vital link between our customers and our service team, ensuring that every vehicle receives the care it deserves. Your expertise in automotive service management and customer service will create a welcoming environment where clients feel valued and informed. You'll leverage your mechanical knowledge and experience to guide customers through their vehicle maintenance needs, upselling services that enhance their driving experience. Join us in delivering exceptional automotive service while building lasting relationships with our clients

What you'll do

  • Greet customers warmly and assess their automotive service needs through effective communication.
  • Provide detailed explanations of services, repairs, and maintenance options to customers.
  • Utilize your automotive diagnostics skills to identify issues and recommend appropriate solutions.
  • Manage service writing tasks, ensuring accurate documentation of customer requests and technician notes.
  • Upsell additional services such as oil changes, brake repairs, and tire services to enhance vehicle performance.
  • Collaborate with service technicians to ensure timely completion of repairs while maintaining high-quality standards.
  • Handle cash transactions accurately and maintain records for all services rendered.
  • Stay updated on the latest automotive repair techniques and technologies to provide informed recommendations.

Basic qualifications

  • Strong customer service skills with a passion for helping others.
  • Experience in auto service management or dealership environments.
  • Mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience in automotive repair or as a service technician.

Preferred qualifications

  • Familiarity with automotive diagnostics, including transmissions, alignment, suspension, and diesel engine repair.
  • Proficiency in auto estimating and service writing processes.
  • Experience in upselling automotive services and products effectively.
  • Knowledge of air brake systems, shocks & struts, auto body repair, and tire service.
