Description
The Investment Management team at Lido Advisors, LLC spans portfolio management, risk assessment, market research, trading, building and maintaining proprietary technology to support the firm's rapid growth. We are modernizing our operational and data infrastructure to support scalable, automated, and insight-driven wealth-management processes across the firm. You'll be joining a fast-moving team that sits at the intersection of investment operations, financial analytics, and data engineering.
We are seeking a highly motivated Operational Analyst to support our financial analysts and operational leads in day-to-day investment management workflows. This is an early-career role ideal for someone with strong financial acumen, excellent communication skills, and a desire to work in a data-driven environment. You will work closely with our investment operations, trading, compliance, and data science teams to gather data, validate information, streamline processes, and support our move toward a more automated operating model. While deep programming experience is not required, an interest in coding (especially Python) and a willingness to learn will be highly valued.

- Assist financial analysts with account reviews, trade-order workflows, and day-to-day investment operations.
- Prepare and validate data sets from various custodians and systems.
- Monitor incoming operational requests, track statuses, and ensure timely follow-up with advisors and internal stakeholders.
- Support documentation, accuracy checks, and exception handling.
Data & Process Workflows
- Work with senior analysts to identify process gaps, manual bottlenecks, and opportunities for automation.
- Assist in creating SOPs, workflow maps, and checklists that improve consistency and reduce operational risk.
- Technical & Coding-Oriented Tasks
- Write simple Python scripts for data cleaning, formatting, or validation (training provided).
- Perform CSV/Excel data transformations and collaborate with Data Science/DevOps on automated processes.
- Assist in testing data pipelines and validating outputs from internal tools.
- Participate in cross-functional projects related to our data infrastructure, operational workflow automation, and AI-enabled processes.
What Success Looks Like In This Role
- You communicate clearly and proactively with analysts, advisors, and cross-functional teams.
- You show strong attention to detail when reviewing data or working through operational tasks.
- You take ownership of deliverables and follow processes end-to-end.
- You learn quickly and demonstrate curiosity about data, technology, and how our systems fit together.
- You contribute to building a scalable, automated operational environment.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering/Mathematics, Financial Engineering, Economics, Business or a related field.
- Strong analytical and quantitative skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
- High attention to detail and task ownership.
- Basic familiarity with Python.
- Proficiency with Excel.
Preferred (Nice To Have)
- Coursework or internship experience in finance, accounting, data analytics, or investment operations.
- Exposure to SQL, Python data libraries, or any scripting environments.
- Interest in wealth management, financial markets, and investment analytics.
- Willingness to or progress towards achieving the CFA charter.
- Experience working with CRM systems.
