Job Title: Floral Designer (Part-Time )

About Us:

We are a longstanding community focused flower shop in Philadelphia seeking experienced and creative Floral Designers assistant to join our growing team. As we grow our floral, plant, and retail offerings, we are looking for talented and motivated Floral Designers Assistant the shop, initially on a part-time basis. The shop fosters a co-op-style environment with opportunities for collaboration and long-term growth.

About the Role:

We are currently hiring 1-2 part-time floral design assitants, with the potential for a future full-time position for candidates available to work weekends. This role does not involve wedding floral design, making it an ideal fit for independent wedding floral designers who are looking to build industry relationships, gain exposure, and supplement their freelance work in a collaborative retail environment.

Qualifications:

  • Floral experience and A portfolio of floral designs is required
  • Knowledge of garden plants
  • Strong sense of style, composition, and color
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team

Responsibilities:

  • Create custom floral arrangements based on shop standards and customer needs
  • Provide exceptional customer service, ensuring a welcoming and positive in-store experience
  • Manage flower and plant inventory, including processing and maintenance
  • Handle daily retail transactions accurately
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization throughout the store
  • Collaborate with the team to ensure timely preparation and delivery of orders
