Accounting Assistant – Full Time

Location: Manassas, VA

We're looking for a reliable Accounting Assistant to support our Lead Accountant with day-to-day dealership accounting operations. You'll help process deals, handle expenses, and maintain accurate financial records in a busy, team-driven environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist the Lead Accountant with daily accounting and bookkeeping tasks
  • Help process vehicle deals and verify paperwork for accuracy
  • Record and track dealership expenses, vendor invoices, and payments
  • Support reconciliation of bank statements and internal reports
  • Maintain organized records and assist with month-end closing
  • Collaborate with team members in sales, finance, and management to resolve accounting-related questions

Requirements:

  • Prior accounting or bookkeeping experience (automotive dealership experience preferred)
  • Basic understanding of accounting principles and spreadsheets
  • Strong attention to detail and excellent organization skills
  • Dependable, team-oriented, and able to multitask effectively
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel or similar accounting software

Schedule:

Monday–Friday, 10:00 AM – 6:00 PM

Team Environment:

Work among a dedicated team of 6–10 people, all working together to keep dealership operations running smoothly.

Job Type: Full-time

Base Pay: $ $700.00 per week
