2026 Gerald Internship Program – Risk Department

About The Internship Program:
We are looking to hire an intern for our 10-week summer internship program, which will run from June to August, in our Stamford, CT office. Intern will assist in identifying, analyzing, evaluating, and presenting potential financing and investment opportunities for the firm. The program will create and reinforce skills in financial analysis, risk management, and business development within the commodities sector.
- Applicants must be in their junior or senior year at a 4-year accredited college or university.
- Must be able to work in our Stamford, CT office 5 days a week.
- Strong interest in commodities
- Major in Economics, Finance, International Trade, Math or Business
- Excellent analytical skills, attention to detail, and strong organizational skills
- Excellent problem-solving skills
- Strong written and verbal communication
- Self-starter, able to work independently or in a team environment
- Strong proficiency in MS Office applications with advanced Excel skills in modeling and financial valuation
- Highly proactive attitude
- Ability to work 40 hours/week
- Multi-lingual candidates are a plus
What The Intern Will Do:
- Assist the risk management team in assessing risk, maintaining associated documents, reports, and data records.
- Special projects and other administrative functions as required.

Interns may be offered full-time employment upon completion of the internship program.
