    Bloomfield Public Schools is seeking qualified candidates for the position of
Instructional Assistant (Kindergarten) at Laurel Literacy Academy.
 
Work Year:  Ten-month position (190 days)
 
Work Week:  32.5 hours/week
 
Hourly Wage:  (Dependent upon experience)
 
Qualifications
  • Skills and knowledge Minimum - Associate's Degree or equivalent and some experience in working with children
  • Ability to handle and treat information confidentially
  • Ability to work with a student in a classroom environment and capability to follow teacher and related staff instructions in regard to work modifications and behavior plans
  • Ability to present material in a clear and efficient manner
  • Ability to help organize content area information
  • Ability to consistently implement instructional and behavior programs for students under the direction of a teacher
  • Ability to relate to students, teachers, and staff in a positive and effective manner
