Job Summary

We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Project Manager to lead and oversee wet site utility installations on construction projects from inception to completion. In this role, you will coordinate all aspects of project planning, execution, and delivery, ensuring projects are completed on time, within scope, and within budget. Your expertise in construction management software, project scheduling, and site coordination will drive project success while maintaining high standards of safety and quality. Responsibilities

  • Lead the planning, development, and execution of construction projects, ensuring alignment with client specifications and company standards.
  • Develop project schedules to track progress and deadlines.
  • Coordinate with owners, architects, engineers, general contractors and city inspectors to facilitate seamless communication and collaboration throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Oversee construction site activities, ensuring adherence to safety protocols, schematics, blueprints, and contract requirements.
  • Manage procurement processes for suppliers and subcontractors.
  • Monitor project budgets and costs meticulously
  • Review and interpret blueprints, schematics, and contracts to ensure precise execution of the scope of work.
  • Track project progress and adjust plans proactively to mitigate delays or issues.
  • Conduct regular site visits to oversee construction activities, verify quality standards, and resolve on-site challenges promptly.
  • Prepare detailed reports on project status and participate in project coordination meetings.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations, permits, and safety standards across the construction site.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in project management with a strong background in underground storm, water and sanitary sewer utilities.
  • Proficiency in construction management software such as Planswift, Bluebeam, ProCore, HeavyJob, or similar platforms.
  • Ability to develop detailed project timelines
  • Hands-on construction site experience demonstrating safety awareness and quality control practices.
  • Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks effectively under tight deadlines.
  • Ability to effectively communicate with clients, subcontractors, vendors, and team members at all levels.
  • Bilingual is not required but useful
  • Ability to interpret construction documents accurately for precise installation of utility scope.
