Key Responsibilities

  • Operate armored vehicles safely to transport cash, valuables, and other assets between designated locations.
  • Verify and record delivery and pickup details with customers to ensure accuracy and accountability.
  • Perform heavy lifting and physical tasks such as carrying, pushing, and pulling items for short distances; frequent bending, squatting, standing, walking, climbing, and reaching required.
  • Communicate effectively with supervisors and team members via phone or radio to report issues, incidents, or emergencies.
  • Work collaboratively with other team members to complete routes efficiently and safely.
  • Adhere to established security protocols at all times and maintain vigilance for suspicious activity.
  • Drive automatic armored vehicles for 6–8 hours per day, 5–6 days per week, following assigned routes.
  • Service ATMs, including replenishing cash, retrieving deposits, and balancing machines.
  • Pick up and deliver customer change orders and deposits while ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
  • Conduct routine vehicle inspections before and after shifts to ensure safety and compliance.
  • Maintain detailed route logs documenting deliveries, pickups, times, and security checks.
  • Respond promptly to incidents or emergencies, contacting branch management or supervisors as required.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Proven experience in commercial driving, delivery services, security, or military roles demonstrating reliability and responsibility.
  • Ability to safely lift and move heavy objects using proper techniques or equipment.
  • Strong conflict management and customer service skills to handle challenging situations calmly and professionally.
  • Basic math skills for verifying loads, counting cash/valuables, and maintaining accurate records.
  • Must meet state requirements for a handgun license or permit.
  • Ability to work independently while maintaining constant communication with co-workers and customers.
  • Flexibility to adapt to changes in route or routine on short notice.
  • Previous experience with messenger duties or cash handling preferred.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $18.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
