We are seeking a skilled Auto Mechanic to join our team, A reputable family-owned auto repair shop. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining vehicles to ensure maximum reliability and functionality. Our ideal candidate is experienced, efficient, and able to diagnose and solve complex mechanical or electrical issues with precision.

Responsibilities

  • Inspect and diagnose vehicle engines and mechanical/electrical components to identify issues accurately.
  • Inspect and repair vehicle computer and electronic systems to maintain, repair, and upgrade.
  • Perform routine maintenance (oil changes, fluid replacement, lubrication) to ensure vehicle functionality and longevity.
  • Schedule future maintenance sessions and provide advice to customers on proper vehicle usage and care.
  • Repair or replace broken or dysfunctional parts (e.g., leaks, worn-out components).
  • Provide accurate cost, time, and effort estimates for repairs or maintenance jobs.
  • Maintain logs on work completed, issues identified, and customer communications.
  • Ensure tools and equipment are well-maintained and in good working condition.

Skills & Requirements:

  • Proven experience as an auto mechanic with solid diagnostic and repair skills.
  • In-depth knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems in vehicles.
  • Proficient in using vehicle diagnostic systems and repair methods.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
  • Excellent eye-hand coordination and manual dexterity.
  • Great communication skills to explain issues and solutions to customers.
  • – Fast, efficient, and capable of working with minimal supervision.
