Job Overview:

We are an ABA Therapy Agency seeking a dedicated Behavior Technician or BT to join our team providing services to clients in the home and school settings. As a Registered Behavior Technician, you will work with individuals with developmental disabilities, primarily autism, to implement behavior intervention plans and provide support in various settings.

Responsibilities:

  • Implement behavior intervention plans under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA)
  • Conduct direct 1:1 therapy sessions with clients
  • Collect and record data on client behavior
  • Assist in the development and maintenance of client treatment goals
  • Collaborate with the treatment team to ensure consistency in implementing treatment plans
  • Provide feedback to families on client progress

Preferred Skills and Experience:

  • 1 Year experience working with individuals with autism or developmental disabilities preferred
  • Knowledge of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) principles
  • Ability to conduct patient assessments and implement behavioral therapy techniques
  • Familiarity with special education practices
  • Strong interpersonal skills for working with clients, families, and colleagues
  • Ability to maintain accurate medical documentation

Minimum Requirements:

  • HS diploma
  • Ability to pass a background check, LIVESCAN, and TB test
  • Reliable transportation, DL, and Car Insurance
  • Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds
  • Must be able to assume and maintain a variety of postures (kneeling, squatting, crawling, sitting and standing) for extended periods of time
  • Must be willing to sit on the floor for extended periods of time
  • Must be willing to work in various environments to perform therapy such as home, schools, centers, and community settings.
  • Must be willing to drive within an agreed upon mile radius as needed for treatment of clients in the home, community, and school settings
