Job Description:
The Athletic Paraprofessional is responsible for supervising and ensuring the safety of a child during after-school athletic activities. This role involves monitoring the child's participation, providing necessary assistance, and maintaining a positive and supportive environment. The paraprofessional will work closely with coaches, staff, and parents to support the child's needs while encouraging engagement in physical activities.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and assist the child during after-school athletic programs.
  • Ensure the child's safety and well-being at all times.
  • Provide support with transitions between activities.
  • Communicate with coaches and parents regarding the child's progress and any concerns.
  • Encourage positive social interactions and engagement in activities.
  • Follow all school and program policies related to student supervision and safety.
 

Qualifications:

  • Experience working with children in an educational or athletic setting.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to provide a supportive and structured environment.
  • CPR and First Aid certification preferred.
Pay Rate: $14.00 Per Hour
