Tile Setter

INSSKI Construction is seeking an experienced Tile Setter to support upcoming renovation and repair projects across Los Angeles County. This is a project-based position with the opportunity for ongoing work as our workload grows.

We are looking for a dependable professional whose primary skill is tile installation, with the flexibility to assist with related construction tasks as needed.

Responsibilities

• Install floor and wall tile (ceramic, porcelain, stone) with high attention to detail
• Prepare substrates, including layout, waterproofing, backer board, and leveling
• Perform grout, caulking, and finish work
• Assist with related tasks such as minor demolition, drywall patching, or trim work when required
• Work independently and maintain productivity when supervision is limited
• Maintain a clean, safe, and professional job site

Requirements

• Proven experience as a tile setter
• Strong knowledge of layout, waterproofing systems, and finish standards
• Ability to work independently and manage assigned scope of work
• Multi-skilled mindset and willingness to assist beyond tile scope when needed
• Own basic tile tools and dependable transportation
• Authorization to work in the United States
• Willingness to work on a per-project basis (no guaranteed full-time schedule)

Job Type: Temporary

Pay: $ $45.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20 – 40 per week
