Position Summary

We are seeking a motivated and compassionate Primary Care / Urgent Care Provider (Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant) to join our growing team. This hybrid role offers the best of both worlds—continuity of care for established primary care patients and the fast-paced environment of urgent care medicine.

The ideal candidate is confident managing both acute and chronic conditions, thrives in a collaborative clinical environment, and is passionate about improving patient outcomes through timely, personalized care.

Key Responsibilities

Primary Care Duties:

  • Provide comprehensive, patient-centered care including annual wellness visits, preventive screenings, chronic disease management, and medication management.
  • Develop and maintain long-term relationships with patients and families.
  • Order, interpret, and follow up on diagnostic testing and lab results.
  • Promote preventive health education and wellness initiatives.

Urgent Care Duties:

  • Evaluate and treat patients presenting with acute illnesses and minor injuries (e.g., respiratory infections, lacerations, sprains, rashes, etc.).
  • Perform procedures such as suturing, splinting, incision & drainage, and point-of-care testing.
  • Order and interpret rapid tests, X-rays, and other diagnostic studies.
  • Coordinate referrals and follow-up care as appropriate.

General Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure continuity and quality of care.
  • Document all patient encounters accurately in the electronic health record (EHR).
  • Maintain compliance with all clinical, regulatory, and organizational standards.
  • Participate in staff meetings, clinical training, and quality improvement initiatives.

Qualifications

  • Education:

Master's or Doctoral degree from an accredited Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant program.

  • Licensure:

Active and unrestricted license to practice in the State of [Ohio].

  • Certification:

  • Board Certified Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP-C/FNP-BC) or Physician Assistant-Certified (PA-C).

  • Current BLS and ACLS certifications required.

  • Experience:

  • Minimum 1–2 years of experience in a primary care, family medicine, or urgent care setting preferred.

  • New graduates with strong clinical rotations and a desire to work in a hybrid model are encouraged to apply.

  • Skills:

Excellent clinical judgment, communication, and patient engagement skills. Comfortable working independently and collaboratively in a team environment.

Job Type: Full-time

Base Pay: $ $70.50 per hour

Expected hours: 36 – 40 per week
