We are looking to add an Office Specialist at Baptist, located at Baptist Pediatrics in Orange Park, FL. This is a full-time, day-shift opportunity, and reports to work, Monday through Friday. This Pediatrics office is conveniently located on Smith Street in Orange Park, just off Kingsley Avenue and Highway 17, close to Roosevelt Blvd.
As the Office Specialist, you will provide business services for patients and the healthcare system. You will handle patient registration, posting charges and payments, and telephone protocols. This position is in a large, well-established pediatrics practice.
The Office Specialist will be responsible for:
- Check in and check out
- Scanning documents
- Assisting patients as needed
- Reviewing and following up on unpaid insurance claims
- Processing mail on a daily basis
- Working with insurance carriers and Baptist Primary Care Centers
- Assisting with referrals as needed
