Department: Spring

Job Summary:

This position exists to provide quality training to ensure new and existing employees have the knowledge, skills and ability to perform manufacturing tasks.Essential Duties and Responsibilities:Trains new hires and cross trains existing employees on use of microscope, and process for Cut, Weld, Close, Assembly, and other spring processes involving various levels of complexityInspects and has the ability to troubleshoot mechanical issuesCoaches and mentors team members and leaders using existing processes and proceduresEvaluates progress of each employee during the training period and upon completion of the training, provides feedback to the employee on their progressEnsures employees adhere to procedures and guidelines established by the company to minimize errors and safety risksMaintains training records, work orders, and other documentation to a high level of accuracyAssist employees with scanning into E1 transactionsPerform other related duties as assigned

Education:

High School Diploma or equivalent preferred

Experience:

Minimum 2 years' in small part assembly preferredMinimum 1 years' experience training/mentoring new hires preferred

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

Must be able to communicate with all levels across the organization which includes developing and delivering training presentations as neededAbility to reinforce good documentation practicesEffective communication and teamwork skillsAbility to accurately maintain and track work orders

Physical Requirements:

Employee is occasionally required to standWhile performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally required to walkThis position is mainly sedentary; therefore, required to sitOccasionally, will need to bend, stoop and squatFrequent lifting and/or moving up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 poundsRequired to reach with hands and arms to handle documents and productsMust be able to enter data into a computer by use of a key board and mouse and be able to sit for long periods at his/her desk as well as occasionally visit employees throughout the building to gather data and clarify information
