Role Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Full Stack Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate is a self-starter with experience in building performant and scalable web applications, translating complex business requirements into system capabilities, working closely with a group of engineers, dev ops, QA, product teams, and most importantly the end users. You will be interacting with actual users and will immediately see your code in action. You will solve real-world problems and will observe the quality-of-life improvements our platform and your contributions to it makes for our customers.

This requires a dynamic individual with excellent organizational, analytical skills, and most importantly communication skills. 

Your responsibilities will include

• Develop, maintain, and enhance cutting edge web-based PHP applications
• Apply modern UX and UI design principles, design patterns, and modern architecture
• Design and implement REST APIs
• Ensure HTML, CSS, and shared JavaScript is valid and consistent across applications
• Utilize backend data services and enhance existing data services API as required
• Take responsibility for the entire application feature development life cycle from inception to delivery and post launch support
• Build complex algorithm to for cost optimization, order prediction, vendor preference
• Adhere to internal organization Agile processes
• Document process, features, architecture, and design
• Coordinate with team members and keeps internal and external stakeholders informed of the status of development effort
• Serve as a liaison between development staff and project manager
• Keep abreast of new trends and best practices in software and web development

- Dental experience: especially with dental products is a big plus; however a highly motivated person is expected to learn and prosper within a few months

- Excellent verbal and written English: effective communication skills that span both engineering communication as well as communication with partners and customers
- Advanced professional English: C1/C2 English proficiency – capable of effortless communication in professional and technical contexts, ensuring clarity and understanding with engineers, customers, and stakeholders
- Strong individual contributor as well as excellent team player with a "no task is too small" attitude
- Create and promote a culture of excellence, mentorship, and thought leadership within Engineering and across departments

Your Professional Experience Should Include

• Previous working experience as a PHP / Laravel developer for (5-7) year(s)
• Previous working experience as a Vue developer for (3-5) year(s)
• BS/MS degree in Computer Science, Engineering, MIS or similar field
• In-depth knowledge and experience with object-oriented PHP and Laravel 10 PHP Framework
• Hands-on experience with SQL schema design, SOLID principles, REST API design
• Hands-on experience with software unit-testing (PHPUnit, PHPSpec, Behat) and test-driven development
• Hands-on experience with PostgreSQL profiling and query optimization
• Experience with AWS Cloud
• DevOps Experience is a plus
• Our Current Stack: Vue, PHP, Laravel, SQS, PostgreSQL, Redis, Golang, JSON API
