Team Leader

Location: Blu's Barbeque

Blu's Barbeque is looking for dependable team members with strong leadership skills to take charge during shifts and help keep daily operations running smoothly. As a Shift Leader, you'll support management by supervising staff, maintaining service quality, and ensuring each guest enjoys the full Blu's BBQ experience.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and support team members throughout each shift to maintain a positive and efficient work environment.
  • Assign daily tasks, monitor workflow, and adjust staffing as needed to meet service demands.
  • Oversee customer service and handle any guest concerns promptly and professionally.
  • Manage cash handling, register counts, and daily deposit procedures.
  • Track inventory levels, restock supplies, and report shortages to management.
  • Enforce company standards, food safety regulations, and cleanliness protocols.
  • Train new hires and provide ongoing coaching for existing staff.
  • Communicate effectively with upper management regarding shift performance or issues.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Reliable transportation.
  • Prior experience as a shift leader, supervisor, or key holder in food service or retail.
  • Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to create or follow shift schedules and manage team assignments.
  • Confident decision-maker with a customer-first mindset.
  • Positive attitude and commitment to teamwork.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $ $18.00 per hour

Expected hours: No more than 40 per week
