A DAY IN THE LIFE AS AN HVAC CONSTRUCTION FOREMAN:

Picture this: It's a crisp morning, and you arrive at the job site, ready to take charge. As the HVAC Construction Foreman at S&S Mechanical, you are the backbone of our construction operations. You step onto the site, and your team looks to you for guidance and inspiration. With confidence and expertise, you lead them through the day's tasks, ensuring the schedule is on track and the work is of the highest quality.

You communicate seamlessly with the general contractor and other trades, fostering strong relationships that drive the success of the project. You proactively confirm material and equipment orders, eliminating any potential delays. Your leadership skills shine as you train and advise your team members, empowering them to execute their work tasks flawlessly.

Throughout the day, you conduct quality control checklists to maintain the highest installation standards. Your clear communication, recognition, and rapport-building skills create a positive and collaborative work environment, where every team member feels valued. You monitor staff performance and capture daily activities accurately, ensuring efficient operations and seamless progress tracking.

  • Reinforce no will-call policy. All purchasing requires PO
  • Oversee construction phase processes
  • Oversee warehouse interaction with install
  • Oversee accuracy in field receiving PO vs Ship tickets

THE MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS TO BE CONSIDERED:

To be considered for the HVAC Construction Foreman position, you must meet the following minimum requirements:

  • Minimum 1 year of previous HVAC experience
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to conduct effective meetings
  • Commitment to safety protocols, pre-construction procedures, and trade professionalism
  • Demonstrated process-driven mindset, including accurate scheduling and documentation
  • Adaptability to optimize workforce and revenue management
  • A track record of building strong teams and delivering excellent customer service

WORK SCHEDULE & LOCATION

This is a full-time position based in St. George, UT The typical schedule is 7:00 am - 5:00 pm, with some evenings and weekends required to ensure project success.
