Job Title: Shop Hand Technician

Location: St. Charles, MO 63303

Main duties are to aid with a variety of tasks, including daily administration of the shop, and provide support for more experienced workers including CNC Machinists and technicians. The Support Technician will also be responsible for providing materials, cutters, endmills, etc. to the machinists to expedite orders for the machinists. Additional duties could come in the way of assembly, inspection and first part checks for the machinists.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support operations of CNC lathes, mills and wire EDM's
  • Assist in assembly of components in preparation for inspection, machining and shipping
  • Organize carts for jobs to physically issue materials to the shop floor
  • Inventory raw materials and support Material Buyer as necessary
  • Organize shelves consisting of raw materials and work in progress

Required Skills and Attributes:

  • Ability to stand for extended periods of time
  • Ability to learn on-the-job in a fast-paced shop environment

Education and Experience Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent
