Job Overview:

Target Specialty Products is looking for an organized and customer-focused Warehouse Clerk to join our team. This dual-role position not only involves standard warehouse duties such as inventory management and order fulfillment, but also includes customer-facing responsibilities,

providing direct assistance to customers. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, possess

strong organizational skills, and have excellent customer service abilities.

Key Responsibilities:

● Order Fulfillment: Accurately pick, pack, and prepare customer orders for shipment or

in-store pickup.

● Customer Service: Assist walk-in customers by providing product information,

answering inquiries, and helping them order the products they need.

● Retail-Style Service: Handle customer transactions, process payments, and provide an

overall positive experience for customers visiting the branch.

● Inventory Management: Maintain accurate inventory counts, assist with cycle counts,

and ensure stock levels are properly recorded in the warehouse management system.

● Receiving and Stocking: Receive incoming shipments, verify product quantities, and

stock shelves or designated warehouse areas efficiently.

● Product Knowledge: Develop and maintain a thorough understanding of the products

carried to better serve customers and ensure order accuracy.

● Documentation: Maintain accurate records of orders, inventory, and customer

interactions as required.

● Warehouse Maintenance: Help maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse and

customer service area.

● Safety Compliance: Follow all safety protocols, operating procedures, and company

guidelines to ensure a safe working and customer service environment.

● Cross-Departmental Support: Work closely with other departments as needed to meet

branch objectives, including assisting with deliveries or additional warehouse duties.

● Other Duties: Perform other duties as assigned to meet the ongoing needs of the

warehouse and company operations. Duties, responsibilities, and activities may change or

be adjusted as the business evolves.

Qualifications:

● High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

● Previous experience in a warehouse, retail, or customer service role is a plus.

● Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a strong customer service

mindset.

● Ability to lift and move heavy items (up to 50 lbs.) regularly.

● Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

● Basic computer skills for inventory management, order processing, and customer

transactions.

● Willingness to learn product details and assist with various warehouse operations.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $17.25 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
