Job Overview

We are seeking a Marketing Strategic Planner to join a dynamic, collaborative, and fast-paced creative team. This role is ideal for a professional who enjoys translating data, cultural insights, and consumer behavior into clear strategic direction that inspires creative work and drives brand impact.

The Marketing Strategic Planner will partner closely with account, creative, media, and digital teams to develop brand strategies, communication frameworks, and campaign insights for local and regional clients.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the development of brand and communication strategies based on research, data analysis, and market intelligence.
  • Transform consumer insights, trends, and behaviors into clear strategic recommendations.
  • Collaborate with the creative team to provide briefs, direction, and context that guide concept development.
  • Work closely with account management to ensure strategies align with client objectives and target audiences.
  • Analyze campaign performance to identify learnings and opportunities for optimization.
  • Prepare presentations and strategic documents for internal teams and client meetings.
  • Stay up to date on industry trends, category benchmarks, and cultural shifts relevant to the brands supported.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, Advertising, or related field.
  • Bilingual (Spanish/English).
  • 2+ years of experience in strategy, brand planning, marketing, or insights (agency or client side).
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret research and performance data.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to simplify complex information into clear, actionable recommendations.
  • Strong collaboration skills and comfort working in cross-functional environments.
  • High attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Preferred Skills (Not Required)

  • Experience working in creative agencies or fast-paced marketing environments.
  • Familiarity with qualitative and quantitative research methods.
  • Understanding of digital behavior, social media trends, and omnichannel planning.
