Post Doctoral Research Associate ( PRA ) will engage in full-time advanced research training under the supervision and direction of faculty sponsor in the sponsor's research program. PRA's must relocate to the sponsor's location for active participation in the sponsor's program of research and to take advantage of the many interdisciplinary scientific opportunities afforded by the University. PRA will collaborate on grant writing, data analysis, and the development of scientific manuscripts and presentations, work with mentors and collaborators to develop independent research projects and grant proposals aligned with their individual research interests, and engage in training, education, and professional development opportunities offered by UNMC . Program goals focus on accelerating the trainee's entry into a research career and include: 1) beginning implementing of a program of research; 2) the acquisition of grantsmanship skills such as written and oral communication, preparation of grant applications, and administering funded grants; 3) interdisciplinary collaboration with scientists from other fields; and 4) training in scientific integrity.
Required Qualifications
PhD in nursing or closely related field Licensed or eligible for licensure in Nebraska U.S. citizen or U.S. permanent resident
