Location: Alexandria, VA, possibility of remote/telework

The Microsoft (MS) M365 Administrator or equivalent is responsible for managing and maintaining the Microsoft 365 environment of the organization. This role involves overseeing the deployment, configuration, and support of M365 services, ensuring optimal performance, security, and availability.

Duties:

  • Overseeing the installation, configuration, and maintenance of Microsoft 365 services, including Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, OneDrive for Business, PowerBI, Power Automate, Power Apps, CoPilot, and Teams.
  • Providing support for M365-related issues, including user account management, permissions, and troubleshooting.
  • Monitoring and optimizing the performance of M365 services, ensuring efficient resource allocation.
  • Ensuring the security of M365 services by testing patches and updates as well as applying required security configurations.
  • Implementing and managing backup and disaster recovery solutions for M365 services.
  • Maintaining detailed documentation of M365 configurations, procedures, and policies.
  • Working closely with other IT teams to support M365 needs and integrate M365 solutions with other systems.
  • Providing training and support to end-users on M365 services and best practices.
