DESCRIPTION:

Essential Functions:

•Develop and execute test plans and test cases using white-box, black-box, and exploratory testing methods.


•Perform functional, regression, integration, and usability testing across various platforms and environments.


•Facilitate user acceptance testing (UAT), track defects, and verify fixes through retesting.


•Collaborate with project managers, developers, analysts, and support teams to ensure solutions align with business requirements.


•Ensure compatibility across browsers, operating systems, and devices.


•Identify security vulnerabilities and suggest improvements to strengthen product integrity.


•Contribute to continuous improvement of testing strategies, including automation and SOP development.


•Clearly document and communicate test results and quality insights to stakeholders.

Work Environment

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

Training and Experiences:

•Bachelor's degree in Computer Information Systems, Information Technology, or related field; or equivalent progressive experience in software testing.


•5+ years of professional experience in software testing or QA.


•Hands-on experience testing cloud-based, SaaS, and on-premise applications.


•Solid understanding of QA methodologies, SDLC, and defect lifecycle management.


•Proficiency with tools like Selenium, Postman, Jira, TestRail, or similar.


•Experience with both manual and automated testing frameworks.


•Familiarity with Agile/Scrum and CI/CD workflows.

Desirable Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

•Knowledge of computer architecture and advanced testing tools for unit, integration, and functional testing.


•Demonstrated experience with SDLC processes and tools.


•Strong data analysis, troubleshooting, and documentation skills.


•Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.


•Ability to work collaboratively and adapt quickly in a dynamic environment.
