Development & Operations Support Coordinator

Supporting Commercial Real Estate Development, Hospitality, and Multi-Venue Operations

Location: Cincinnati / Northern Kentucky

Position Type: Full-Time

Reports To: Principal / Developer

Industry: Commercial Real Estate Development, Hospitality, Entertainment, Multi-Asset Operations

Position Summary

We are seeking a proactive, organized, and creative Development & Operations Support Coordinator to support a commercial real estate developer with multiple active business lines, including real estate development projects, hospitality concepts, entertainment venues, and other entrepreneurial ventures.

This hybrid role combines project management, marketing support, financial analysis, and general operations assistance across diverse projects. The ideal candidate is resourceful, comfortable handling confidential information, and eager to take ownership of a wide variety of tasks — from construction coordination to marketing execution to operational problem-solving.

Key Responsibilities1. Project Management for Hospitality & Entertainment Venues (40%)

  • Support ongoing operational and capital projects across multiple venue types (hospitality, entertainment, food & beverage, experiential retail).
  • Manage project timelines, update trackers, maintain task lists, and provide weekly progress reporting.
  • Coordinate with contractors, vendors, designers, and internal teams to keep projects on schedule.
  • Oversee bids, RFPs, vendor onboarding, and documentation for facilities improvements and seasonal installations.
  • Assist with layout planning, equipment decisions, operational enhancements, and event-related buildouts.

2. Development Support for Commercial Real Estate Projects (30%)

  • Assist with pre-development tasks: due diligence, research, market comps, financial inputs, and analyzing site or building opportunities.
  • Work with pro formas and project budgets, tracking updates, variances, change orders, and pay applications.
  • Coordinate with architects, engineers, contractors, attorneys, lenders, and city agencies.
  • Maintain organized development files, approvals, permitting workflows, and communication logs.
  • Support asset management activities as needed (leasing materials, property documentation, tenant coordination).

3. Marketing & Communications Coordination (20%)

  • Assist with marketing initiatives across multiple business lines, including events, promotions, seasonal concepts, and brand updates.
  • Support social media coordination, content collection, vendor collaborations, and website updates.
  • Work with designers and vendors to produce signage, graphics, promotional materials, and venue collateral.
  • Brainstorm creative ideas to activate spaces, drive engagement, and enhance customer experience.

4. Administrative & Confidential Support (10%)

  • Handle sensitive and confidential business information, financials, contracts, and internal documents with discretion.
  • Draft emails, summaries, reports, presentations, and internal communications.
  • Maintain calendars, set meetings, prepare agendas, and organize project documentation.
  • Assist with miscellaneous tasks across the developer's various ventures — anything from logistics research to vendor negotiations to operational problem-solving.

Qualifications

  • 2–7+ years of experience in commercial real estate, development, project management, hospitality operations, marketing, or related fields.
  • Strong analytical ability and comfort working with pro formas, budgets, and financial summaries.
  • Excellent organizational skills and ability to handle numerous moving parts simultaneously.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Creative mindset with the ability to think outside the box and proactively find solutions.
  • Proficiency in Excel, project management tools, and basic marketing/creative platforms.
  • Comfortable switching between tasks, projects, and business lines.
  • High level of discretion and professionalism when handling confidential information.
  • Experience supporting entrepreneurs, multi-unit operations, or real estate developers is a plus.

Ideal Candidate Profile

  • Highly resourceful and solutions-oriented
  • Comfortable wearing multiple hats
  • Strong sense of ownership and follow-through
  • Curious, proactive, and adaptable
  • Enjoys creative problem-solving
  • Thrives in fast-paced, entrepreneurial settings
  • Passion for real estate, hospitality, experiential spaces, and new concepts

Compensation & Benefits

  • Competitive salary
  • Performance bonuses
  • Health benefits
  • PTO & paid holidays
  • Opportunities for advancement into development, operations, or project management leadership roles
  • Exposure to a wide variety of development, construction, hospitality, and entertainment projects
