Ohio Field Sales Representative

POSITION SUMMARY:
Viking Industrial Painting is a leader in the water tank maintenance, repair, and coatings in the Midwest region and expanding across the United States, with project locations extending from Northern Minnesota to Southern Texas, Florida to California.
We're looking for a self-motivated, personable Field Sales Representative to join our growing team. This position will be responsible for covering the State of Ohio, focusing on securing water tower maintenance projects and long-term maintenance programs. This opportunity is perfect for someone with an entrepreneurial spirit, a self-starter eager to build their own brand while representing a company rooted in strong values, integrity, and craftsmanship. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Build relationships with municipalities, engineers, and utility clients to promote Viking's water tank maintenance and coating services.
- Generate and manage sales opportunities from first contact through project close.
- Deliver exceptional customer service through follow-up calls, inspection report delivery, and annual support visits.
- Collaborate with our Operations team to ensure project delivery meets customer expectations.
- Create and maintain sales documents, update CRM system, complete expense reports, and perform other administrative sales tasks.
- Attend and present at city council meetings to secure project approvals and close sales.
- Manage your territory strategically to maximize sales performance and uncover new opportunities.
- Maintain our CRM database to keep sales documentation up to date and accurate.
EDUCATION, SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:
- Proven sales experience required, municipal or industrial sales experience preferred.
- This role requires travel across the State of Ohio, with some overnight and occasional out-of-state trips for sales meetings and company events.
- Strong communication, presentation, and relationship building skills required.
- A self-starter with an entrepreneurial drive who thrives on independence and results.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office 365 applications and CRM tools (experience with Business Central a plus).
- Professional appearance and customer service focus.
- Ability to safely climb water towers and tanks (up to 150 feet or higher) using fall protection equipment.

Pay: $70, $100,000.00 per year
