Apprentice Plumber

Duties

• Assist experienced plumbers with installation, repair, and maintenance of plumbing systems in residential, commercial, and industrial settings
• Learn to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings related to plumbing and construction projects
• Use hand tools, power tools, pipe threading equipment, and welding equipment safely and effectively
• Perform basic measurements and calculations for pipe fitting and system layouts using basic math skills
• Support the installation of piping, fixtures, and appliances according to project specifications
• Help with remodeling, assembly, and general maintenance tasks on construction sites
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment to ensure safety compliance
• Participate in field service activities including troubleshooting plumbing issues on-site
• Excavation and digging needed

Requirements

• Prior experience or knowledge in construction, carpentry, or maintenance person work is a plus
• Familiarity with construction site safety protocols and procedures
• Basic understanding of blueprint reading.
• Ability to operate hand tools, power tools, pipe threading equipment, and welding tools safely
• Strong mechanical aptitude with an interest in learning plumbing systems and installation techniques
• Good communication skills and ability to follow instructions accurately
• Physical ability to perform manual tasks including lifting heavy materials and working in various environmental conditions
• Prior field service or remodeling experience is advantageous but not required
• Must be willing to learn new skills continuously and work effectively as part of a team

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $ $23.00 per hour

Expected hours: No more than 40 per week
