Job Overview

As a Cocktail Server, you will be the vibrant face of our establishment, delivering exceptional service and creating memorable experiences for our guests. Your role is pivotal in ensuring that patrons enjoy a delightful dining and nightlife experience. You will be responsible for serving cocktails and beverages, providing top-notch customer service, and maintaining the lively atmosphere of our venue. Join us in making every moment special

What you'll do

  • Greet guests warmly and provide them with menus, ensuring they feel welcomed and valued.
  • Take drink orders accurately and efficiently, utilizing Aloha POS or Micros POS systems for seamless service.
  • Upsell premium beverages and specials to enhance the guest experience while maximizing sales opportunities.
  • Prepare and serve cocktails, ensuring adherence to food safety and sanitation standards throughout the process.
  • Maintain cleanliness of the bar area, including bussing tables and restocking supplies as needed to keep operations running smoothly.
  • Engage with guests to foster positive relationships, addressing any concerns or requests promptly to ensure satisfaction.
  • Collaborate with kitchen staff to coordinate food service, ensuring timely delivery of orders to enhance guest enjoyment.
  • Process payments accurately using cash handling procedures while maintaining a balanced cash register.

Basic qualifications

  • Proven experience in food service or restaurant environments, particularly in fine dining or nightlife settings.
  • Strong time management skills with the ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced atmosphere.
  • Excellent customer service skills with a focus on guest relations and satisfaction.
  • Basic math skills for accurate order processing and cash handling.

Preferred qualifications

  • Experience with OpenTable for reservations management is a plus.
  • Culinary experience or knowledge of food preparation is beneficial for enhancing guest interactions.
  • Previous host/host experience is advantageous for understanding front-of-house operations.
  • Familiarity with sanitation practices and food safety regulations within the food industry.
